Mary L Turntine

Mary Louise Turntine, 78, of Bourbon, died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 26, 1936 in Richwoods, MO to the late Raymond and Corene Courtway. She married Dale D. Turntine on January 7, 1955 in St. Clair, MO. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2008.
Mary is survived by seven children, two sons, James D. Turntine and wife, Marla, of Sullivan and Roger L. Turntine of High Ridge, MO; five daughters; Sandy Weir of Sullivan, Tessie Bylund and husband, Alan, of Orem, UT, Peggy Brinkerhoff and husband, Mel, of Bourbon, Ron Nelson and husband, Mike, of Sandy, UT and Marcella Bolzenius and husband, James, of Union; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren with one on the way; four brothers; Clyde Courtway of Union, Bill Courtway and wife, Lucy, of Sullivan, and Lawrence Courtway of St. Clair, Junior Courtway and wife, Lorraine, also of Union; two sisters; Gerry Briggs of Beaufort and Joyce Todaro and husband, Tony, of Union, along with several nieces and nephews.
Mary worked for Missouri Home Care for 12 years, retiring in 2003. She was a devotee of the Pentecostal faith, and loved nature, music, playing piano and singing hymns. The most enjoyable part of her life was her family and friends.
Funeral services for Mary were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor David Gargus officiating. Interment follow at the Bourbon Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday from 9 a.m. till time of service.
