Gladys Laverne (Fisher) Binkholder, age 81, residing on the family farm in Rosebud, MO, and most recently in Easley, SC, with her daughter, passed peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2015.
Gladys was born in Rosebud, MO on April 26, 1933, the wife of Robert L. Binkholder (deceased), mother of Michael L. Binkholder, Steven R. Binkholder, Rise L. Binkholder (deceased), and Lisa G. Barnes. She was the loving and devoted grandmother of Jessica (Binkholder) Hoeft, Natalee Binkholder, Elizabeth (Binkholder) Dahl, Emilee (Barnes) Sewell, Brooke Barnes and Teddy Binkholder and great-grandmother to Reyna and Brett Hoeft and Paislee Sewell. Gladys is survived by two daughters in law, 2 grandsons in law, brother and sisters in law and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
Gladys loved her family, her pets and her flower garden.
She was especially fond of quilting and making unique quilts for her family. She was a great cook and we all really loved her Klazies, chocolate chip cookies and canned vegetables from her garden!
In lieu of a funeral, Gladys will be cremated in South Carolina and laid to rest in the Rosebud Methodist Cemetery in a private family gathering.
