Mary Lee Harris went to be with the Lord on October, 14, 2016 in Brownsville, TX.

She was born Mary Lee Pritchett in St. Francois, MO on Sept. 24, 1928 to James Walter and Lena May Pritchett. She married Carl William Harris on Aug. 17, 1946 in Leadwood, MO and to this union came five children.

After coming to Sullivan in 1962, Mary was employed at Brown Shoe Company for some time, and later at the Ramsey Corporation. She also received an Associate Degree from East Central College, and spent some time as a substitute teacher in the Sullivan School District.

Mary was a wonderful Christian wife, mother, and friend whose greatest joy was sharing her love of Jesus. Our hearts are broken but we rejoice in the knowledge that she is celebrating a wonderful reunion in heaven.

Mary is survived by her children: Marilyn Williams (and husband, Dennis) of Brownsville TX, Gloria McVay (and Durwood McVay) of Lagrange, GA, Glenn Harris (and wife, Amy) of Sullivan, and John “Chris” Harris of Moscow Mills, MO; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Carl; her youngest daughter, Paula Ware; her parents; and two sisters, Eupha Harris and Lola Vick.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association, in the name of Mary Lee Harris.

Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.eatonfuneralhome.com.

Arrangements are under the care of Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan.
