Daniel Barks passed away at his home in St. Louis, MO, after a courageous battle with cancer, on October 12, 2016, at the age of 55.
He was born April, 20 1960 in St. Louis, MO, to Bobby and Melba Barks. He grew up in High Ridge, MO, graduating from Northwest High School and later called his home St. Louis. He loved life with his partner, Daniel Street and their fur babies, Rosco and Oakley. He was the proud uncle to Will, Katie (Wyatt), and Nick (Sylvia); great-uncle to Jasper, Cooper, Serenity, Cole, and Sam. He never missed an opportunity to say “I Love You!”
He is preceded in death by his father Bobby, his grandparents, his niece Danielle Gillette. He leaves behind his mother, Ellen (Dean), and his nieces and nephews.
How lucky we are to have known someone who was so hard to say goodbye.
Visitation was at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., 63123, Friday, October 14, from 4-8 p.m..and continued at Crossroads General Baptist Church, Greenville MO., Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until funeral services at 12:30 p.m. Interment at Crossroads Cemetery.
