Beth Wessler

Elizabeth Wessler nee Broadfoot, of Sullivan passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the age of 56.

Beth was born on January 4, 1960 to the late Darmon Broadfoot and Patricia Sigman Broadfoot in Bonne Terre, MO. She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan and graduated from Sullivan High School class of 1978. She went on to graduate from East Central College and then the University of Missouri Rolla, majoring in English. mainphoto_wessler-obit-colorBeth was a giving and selfless wife, mother and grandmother. She was most notably a tremendous Cardinals Fan, beginning at an early age at her father’s side. Beth was a self-taught interior decorator and her sense of style and design was admired by all who saw the results of her work. She was the owner of a local real estate investment management firm. Beth touched hundreds of lives through her network of personal, business and Facebook friends. She was a lifelong member of Temple Baptist Church of Sullivan.

She is survived by her husband Tony Wessler of Sullivan, her mother; Pat Broadfoot of Sullivan, children; Jana Rice of Sullivan, Juli Patterson and husband James of Sullivan, Jacob Rice of St. Louis, Jennifer Stroud and husband Chris of Kansas City, MO, Rebecca Rowold and husband John of Kansas City, MO, one brother; Tom Broadfoot and wife Dixie of Kentucky, mother and father in law; Bob and Ann Wessler of Sullivan, 10 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan.

Visitation will be from 9-11 Saturday, October 8 at Temple Baptist Church, Sullivan.

According to Beth’s wishes, her body was donated to Cancer Research.

Arrangements are under the care of Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
