Joann Freeman, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the age of 78 years.
Joann, as she was known by family and friends, was born on March 26, 1937, to the late Joseph S. and Lula Mary (Doyle) Fijan in Stanton, MO. Joann was employed in the restaurant of the former I-44 Truck Plaza and was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church, Sullivan, MO.
She is survived by her son, Billy Freeman of Sullivan, MO, one daughter, Christine Davis of Paducah, KY, nine grandchildren, Corey and Joseph Beebe of Sullivan, Rose Freeman of Rolla, Lucas Freeman of Sullivan, Michael and Jacob O’Connor both of Sullivan, Summer Davis of Paducah, KY, Bobby and Kayliene Erwin both of Sullivan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan with Rev. Father Paul Telken officiating. Interment was in St. Anthony Cemetery. All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
