Louis “Leon” McMillian, 75, of Fulton was called to his Heavenly home on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Boone Hospital Center.
He was born on January 14, 1940 in Belleville, Ill., the son of the late George McMillian and the late Cleda (Martin) McMillian.
Leon was united in marriage to Diann (Tyree) McMillian. She survives his passing.
Leon worked at various retail stores as a meat cutter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Victory Fellowship Church.
Leon will leave a void in the lives of his family, including his wife, Diann; sons, Leon McMillian (Bridgitte) of Ok., William “”Billy” McMillian (Vicki) of St. Clair, and Michael McMillian (Judi) of Ok.; step-sons, Chad Hager (Nora) of Columbia, and Clay Hager (Jenny) of Holts Summit; step-daughter, Gretchen Penserum of Holts Summit; twenty-two grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 31, 2015 at Victory Fellowship Church with Pastor Richie Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
