Jason Stewart of Sullivan, passed away suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the age of 38 years.
Jason was born November 13, 1976 at St. Louis, Missouri to Nancy (Grimmer) Lyons and the late John Stewart. He was raised in the St. Louis area and latter attained his GED. He was a chef by trade and was employed for a time at Rich and Charlie’s and the Landing in Washington. Jason enjoyed fishing, spelunking, float trips, hiking and the outdoors. His other interests included car restoration.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Nancy and John Patrick Lyons of Sullivan; four sons, Zachary Stewart of Wentzville, Missouri, Patrick Stewart of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Jason Stewart of Wentzville, and Ayden Stewart of Branson, Missouri; one daughter, Jasmine Stewart of Branson; one sister, Roxanna Rivard of Sullivan; one half-sister, Felisha Stewart of Belgrade, Missouri; four half-brothers, Michael Stewart of Potosi, Missouri, Matthew, Brandon and John Stewart all of Tampa, Florida; one granddaughter, Sophia Stewart; his fiancée, Melody Brown of Sullivan, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 from the Eaton Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 301 Sappington Bridge Road, Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Christina Cooper officiating. Cremation followed the services. Visitation was held from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the Southside Chapel.
