House, Bill

Bill House, 87, of Sullivan, formerly of Bonne Terre passed away on April 15, 2015 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. He was born November 29, 1927 to the late Carl and Edna (Bess) House in Pratt Town.  He was united in marriage to Dorothy “Cotton” (Davis) House on October 3, 1953. Also preceding him in death are his wife, Dorothy “Cotton” (Davis) House; daughters, Brenda Sue House and Vicky McHenry; brother, Leonard “Lynn” Snyder and sister, Christine “Sis” Barnes. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Bourbon Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Bill worked most of his life as an electrician in the lead mines.
Bill is survived by his children, Charline Knuckles and husband, Carl, of Bourbon, MO; Kay McGee and husband, Jerry Don, of Flower Mound, TX; Richard Wayne House and wife, Jane, of Arcadia, MO; Ernest “Ray” House and wife, Judy, of Washington, MO; Lou “Lulu” Kramme and husband, David, of Kirkwood, MO; many grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne House of Sevierville, TN; sister Bertha “Bert” Byington of Bonne Terre, MO.
Friends and family gathered at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral in Desloge on Saturday, May 16 at 2 p.m. to travel by funeral precession to Adams-Hillcrest Cemetery near Bonne Terre for a Graveside Service with Full Military Honors. Memorials can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills.
