Mildred Marie Hawkins, 92, passed away on March 6, 2015 at her home The Villa’s in DeSoto, MO. Mildred was born to the late Emil and Clara Lena (Charboneau)Sohn in Sullivan, MO on May 6, 1922.
Mildred was a Housekeeper at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Edward Hawkins and two sons, H. Gail Hawkins, and Gordon L. Hawkins; three sisters, Bertha Thurmond, Garrie Simpson, and Ora Hawkins; and six brothers: Vester Sohn, Edgar Sohn, Renick Sohn, Lester Sohn, Ernest Sohn, and William Sohn. Preceded in death by one grandson Richard Jennings Hawkins.
She is survived by one son Gregory Kevin (Belinda) Hawkins of DeSoto, MO. Six grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
Mildred was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
Funeral services was held Sunday March 8, 2015 at 2 p.m., at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in DeSoto, MO. Officiated by Brother Wayne Gibson. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, DeSoto, MO.
