Donna Jean Corbett

Donna Jean Corbett, of Sullivan, MO, wife of the late John Corbett and daughter of the late Thomas Isaac and Maud Alice (Nettell) Woodcock, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2015 at the age of 85 years.
Donna was born August 18, 1929 in Stanton, MO and had lived the majority of her life in the Sullivan area.  She was a graduate of Sullivan High School, Class of 1945. She was first married to Walter Lindaman and later divorced. On March 3, 2001, she married John Corbett who preceded her in death in March of 2007. Donna co-owned Independent Machine with her husband Walter for a time and had also worked as a secretary with several businesses which included the former Ramsey Corporation, Berry Architecture, Bank of Sullivan and Missouri Baptist Health Care. Donna was a member of the business and Professional Women’s Association of America and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Sullivan.
She is survived by a son David Lindaman and wife Laura of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Susan Lindaman of Sullivan; one grandson, Bryce Lindaman;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with her husband John and parents, Donna was preceded in death by five brothers, Donald, Cecil, Nelson, Junior and Myron Woodcock and one sister Irene Cowan. Donna was the last of her siblings.
A time of gathering for family and friends was held at the home of Kathy and Barney Hunt, 319 Pine Street, Sullivan, MO from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
Arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
