Services for Ronald Edward Bunton, age 69, of Bourbon, MO, were conducted 11 a.m., on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with interment in Bourbon Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
Ronald Edward was born on December 28, 1947 in Oak Hill, MO, to Lee Oscar and Emma J. (Haynes) Bunton. He grew and attended school in Bourbon. He honorably served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. Ron was employed in various jobs in both the mechanical and manufacturing fields. He was united in marriage to Donna Eoff on September 7, 2009 in Sullivan. Ron was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Ron is survived by his wife, Donna Bunton of Bourbon; six children, Jason (Christy) Bunton of Bourbon, Steven Bunton of New York, William Bunton of Sullivan, Larry (Amanda) Rhoades of St. James, MO, Jeff Dienno of Florissant, MO and Devon (Eddie) Brown of Wildwood, MO; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Gene (Sherry) Bunton of Owensville, Earl Bunton of Union; four sisters: Cathy (Rick) Denham of Hawaii, Mary (Sam) Miller of Washington, Pearl Bunton of Bourbon and Sharon Niehaus of Belle; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Oscar Bunton and Emma J. Haynes Bunton; five brothers, Emmett, James, Vernon, Orville and Elvin Bunton; and one sister, Shirley Spurgeon.
Ronald passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 on his birthday.
Memorials to Vietnam Vets are appreciated.
