Sandra Alena (Richards) Mackley, known to many as Sandi, of Crestwood, MO, departed this life at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on October 7, 2016, having reached the age of sixty-nine years.
Sandi was born in Sullivan, MO, on April 20, 1947, daughter of William (Bill) and Dorothy Richards nee Davis.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Edward Mackley Sr., of Crestwood, MO; by her brother, Glenn Richards and wife, Sandy Peterson, of St. Clair, MO; by her children, Edward (Skip) Mackley, Jr., of Union, MO; Jolena (Gilbert) Mayfield and husband, Chris of St. Louis, MO; Sharon Mackley of St. Clair, MO; Glenna (Gilbert) Girardier and husband, Tim of Washington, MO; by 5 grandchildren, Mackenzie Mackley, Caralena and Nathan Mayfield, and Ella and Abby Girardier; by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Sandi was a Christian and attender of Community Covenant Church in Kirkwood, MO. During her working career he was employed as a hairdresser in Bourbon and in Sullivan, MO. She later spent time working as an administrative assistant at several area organizations in Sullivan, St. Clair, and St. Louis, MO. Sandi was passionately involved in her church’s Comfort Ministry crocheting comfort items for others. What meant most to her was spending time with her family.
