Charles Reynolds 5 colorCharles H. Reynolds, of Troy, MO, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 84 years.

Charles Hulon was born in Martin, TN to the late Jesse and Mattie (Holland) Reynolds. He was raised there for a time and later, moved to Sullivan, MO. Charles attended Sullivan High School but left his studies to enlist in the United States Army. He honorably served his country in the Korean War attaining the rank of Corporal. While in the service, Mr. Reynolds earned his GED. Charles was united in marriage to Nancy Schmitt. He was employed several years with RCA and later by General Electric as a service technician. He retired from GE in 1990. Charles enjoyed cars and fishing the Great Lakes. He delighted in knife and gun collecting and the martial arts.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Reynolds of Viburnum, MO; a daughter, Angela Reynolds of Troy, MO; a son, Joseph Christopher Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, MO; one sister, Mary Poole of Sullivan, MO; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Phillip Reynolds and one brother, Bob Reynolds.

Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 from the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO with Mr. Albert McGhee officiating. Interment was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Sullivan, MO. 

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.
