Sharon Waters nee Blunt of Sullivan, MO, was born on Thursday, May 12, 1949 in Sullivan, MO, to Dale Blunt and Catherine (Clymer) Blunt. She passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 in Sullivan at the age of 66 years, 8 months, and 26 days.
Sharon accepted the Lord at a young age. She worked many years as a CNA/Med Tech at Happy Acres Residential Home in Stanton, MO. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Nicholas Gough. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Catherine Clymer Blunt, father Dale Blunt, and son Donnie Waters.
She is survived by her children Glenn Waters, Jr., Cheryl Waters, and Carol Waters all of Sullivan, MO, Sherry Waters of St. Clair, MO; sister Karen (James) Robinson of Charleston, WV; brother Dennis Blunt of Pittsburgh, PA; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation were from 11 a.m. – l p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, MO with Funeral Service at 1 p.m. with Rev. James E. Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Steelville Cemetery, Steelville, MO. Memorials may be given to Steelville Cemetery.
