Joyce P. Talbert, of Rolla, MO, formerly of Cuba, MO passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the age of 60 years.
Joyce was born on June 15, 1955 in Bourbon, MO, to the late Margaret (Brydon) Lamberth. She grew up in Cuba and attended and graduated from Cuba High School. On November 1, 1974, Joyce was united in marriage to Ronald Talbert and they were blessed with three children. Mrs. Talbert was employed in various businesses in the area including Paramount Headwear, Custom Printing in Owensville and Briggs and Stratton where she worked for over 10 years. Most recently, Joyce worked at Country Valley Nursing Center in St. James. She enjoyed reading, listening to music and watching the Disney channel with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Talbert was a deeply religious person and attended First Missionary Baptist Church in Bourbon.
She is survived by one son, Chris Talbert of Rolla, MO, two daughters, Lisa Talbert of Rolla, Angel Talbert of Sullivan, two sisters, Cheryl Copling of Cuba, Linda Hazley of Joplin, MO, ten grandchildren, Hayley Winebaugh, Katelyn and Amber Talbert, De’Angelo and Aleena Mitchell, Skyler and Alexis DeLong, Dawn Lemons, Breanna and Austin Whitley, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Talbert, her mother, Margaret Lamberth and one brother, Randy Lamberth.
Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Bourbon, MO with Pastor Roy Fikac officiating. Memorials to the family in care of Eaton Funeral Home are appreciated.
