Alene Tutterrow colorAlene Tutterrow of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 surrounded by her family, at the age of 92 years.
Alene was born on June 28, 1923 at Elmont, Missouri to the late, Ernest Winford and Elva Elda (Webb) Boster. She was united in marriage to Paul Tutterrow on May 23, 1942  at Sullivan, Missouri and three children were born to their union. Paul and Alene made their home on Wenkel Ford Road in Spring Bluff from 1967 to 2011. They enjoyed fishing in their lake and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Alene was a charter member of Faith Assembly of God in Sullivan and served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years. She was also active in Women’s Ministries, quilting and the preparation of many church dinners. She was well known for her cinnamon rolls and she enjoyed making them for friends and family. Alene was a wonderful mother, sister, aunt, grandma and great-grandma.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hardecke and husband, Gary of Steelville, MO, two sons, Gene Tutterrow and wife, Marsha of Sullivan, Glen Tutterrow and wife, Debbie of Cuba, MO, six grandchildren, Curtis Tutterrow and wife, Tabitha, Fawn Brooks and husband, Ryan, Stacy Tutterrow and wife, Dana, Leslie Jones and husband, Clay, Matthew Hardecke and wife, Jessica, Becky Simpson and husband, Matthew, 5 great grandchildren, Ian, Sydney and Adam Tutterrow, Isaac Tutterrow and Madelyn Brooks, one sister, Wilma Tutterrow of Sullivan, one brother in-law, Robert Tourville, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Along with her parents, Alene was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2011, her great-granddaughter, Shelby Tutterrow, three sisters, Fern Richardson and husband, Bud, Elda Hall and husband, Billy O. Hall, Leona Tourville and brother in law, George Tutterrow.
Funeral services were conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from Faith Assembly of God, Sullivan, Missouri with Rev. Ronald Garner and Pastor Ronald Pettet officiating. Interment was in Cave Spring Cemetery. Memorials to Women’s Ministries of Faith Assembly are appreciated. All arrangements are under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri.
