Katherine Marie Vassalli, crossed over on October 13, 2015 having reached the age of 91 years 10 months, at Windsor Estates of Camdenton, Missouri.
Katherine was born on January 31, 1924 in Maplewood, Missouri. She is the daughter of the late John and Mary (Emht) Westermann.
She was united in marriage to Ronald Vassalli Sr. on February 21, 1945 in Rock Hill, Missouri.
She was the devoted wife of Ronald Vassalli Sr., dear mother of Melanie Murphy and husband Joe; Ronald Vassalli Jr., Vittorio Vassalli, Sullivan; and Kathy Adams and husband Jim of Marshal, Missouri. Grandmother to Sean, Trina and Bridget Whitener, Brady and Ronald Vassalli III, James and Kathy Adams, and Brianna and Vittorio Vassalli II; great-grandmother to Garrett, Bailey, Emily, Katie, Sami, Joel, Rebekah, Hanna, Halie and Jacen; one great- great-grandchild.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ted, Linus, Kenneth and John Westermann; one sister, Charlotte (Bernard) Schneider; one grandson Matthew Whitener; and son-in-law Gene Whitener.
Funeral Services were held at Eaton Funeral Home 347 North Clark Street, Sullivan, Missouri on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Family received friends on Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Sullivan, Missouri.
Memorials donations are suggested to Camden County Historical Society in lieu of flowers. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.
