Audrey Marie Skipper

Audrey Marie Skipper passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Cape Canaveral Hospital, Merritt Island, Florida at the age of 88 years.

Audrey was born on July 7, 1927 to the late James Calvin and Vina Marie (Neal) Legg at Clay County, West VA. On July 21, 1984 Audrey was united in marriage to William (Skip) Skipper at Sullivan, MO. Mr. Skipper preceded her in death on June 30, 1998. Audrey was a longtime employee of the former IGA where she was a cashier. She retired from IGA in 1988 and later worked at the Bobber Travel Center. Audrey was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she served as secretary, Chaplin and bar manager. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge Sullivan Chapter #319.

She is survived by two sons, Bill Terry and wife, Debbie of Merritt Island, FL, Don Crow and wife, Jeanne of Bourbon, MO, six grandchildren, Billy Terry, Teresa Prather, William Donald Terry, Ronnie Terry, Jennifer Terry and James Carter, a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Scott Perry officiating. Interment followed in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery. Visitation for Audrey Skipper was from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri.
