Adlene Marie Voss, age 83, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at her residence in Cuba. She was born February 7, 1932, in Altenburg, MO, to the late Herbert and Elenora (Perr) Mueller. Adlene married Henry Leo Voss, Jr., he preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Hinck and husband, Steve, of Springfield, MO, and Nancy Schmidt and husband, Gale, of Sullivan, Missouri; five grandchildren, Bethany Ray and husband, John, Amy Ruzich and husband, Richard, Daniel Hinck, Sarah Bryan and husband, Jeremy, and Kathryn Snodgrass and husband, Nathan; nine great grandchildren; one brother Timothy Mueller and wife, Colleen, of Altenburg, MO; one sister-in-law Carol Robertson and husband, Vernon ,of Bourbon; several nieces and nephews.
Adlene was also preceded in death by one daughter, Constance (Connie) Voss and one brother Marvin (Buddy) Mueller.
Adlene was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cuba. She enjoyed life as a cattle rancher and tax preparer. Her passionate hobbies were gardening and card games. Most of all, she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services for Adlene were held Sunday, July 5, 2015, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cuba. The family received friends Sunday from 1 p.m. till time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Hill Cemetery in Bourbon. Donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to Hill Cemetery in Adlene’s name.
