Judy “Lee” Koetting, 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her home in Henley. She was born April 8, 1951 in St. Louis to the late Charles and Ruby (Cox) Skaggs. On March 12, 2004, “Lee” married Thomas Koetting in Gulfport, MS. He survives of the home.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Hueser and husband, Jimmy, from Steelville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four step-children, nine step-grandchildren and one on the way; one brother, Frank Skaggs and wife, Vicky; seven sisters, Lucille Valley, Shirley Shaw and husband, Carl Charlene “Sugar Pie” Keenen and husband, Charlie, Melody Enke and husband Gary, Aileen Valley and husband, Jim, Brenda Curtis and husband, Leo, Bert Skaggs and a special niece, Salina Sharp; several other nieces and nephews.
Lee retired in 2012 with over 12 years in the construction business as a laborer. She enjoyed camping, dogs, time on the river and any and all gardening. Her most enjoyable time was with family and friends.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Bourbon Cemetery in Bourbon, MO.
