Randy Lee Brake, Sr., of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the age of 51 years.
He is survived by his wife Patty of the family home; four sons, Randy Lee Brake, Jr. and wife Lisa of Eldon, MO, Matt Brake and wife Stephanie of Sullivan, MO, Justin Watson of Rogers, AR and Richy Ziegler and wife Cristina of St. Clair, MO; two daughters, Dori Martinez and husband Daniel of Rogers, AR and Patty Boyer and husband David of Newburg, MO; one brother, Gary Crull and wife Karen of Mountain View, AR; one sister, Sally Koepke of Bourbon, MO; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Randy was born in Sullivan, MO and had lived the majority of his life in the Sullivan area. He attended Sullivan High School and later became employed in the construction trade as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Randy enjoyed crafting and would make Christmas ornaments, he collected model ships and model NASCAR’s and collecting Budweiser collectibles. He was known as a “down to earth” individual who was very giving of himself and was self-motivated. He was also a jack-of-all-trades, and loved and cared for his pet dogs. His greatest love was NASCAR racing and was well known throughout the area playing the drums with several different bands. Having been companions for 15 years, on July 6, 2013 Randy was married to Patty Cox of Sullivan, MO.
Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015 from the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Lucretia Whited officiating. Interment was in Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, MO. Visitation was held from 4:30-8 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
