Alfred Forster obit colorServices for Alfred H. Forster, Jr., age 51, of Sullivan were conducted 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Elder Bob Lindsley officiating. Cremation took place following the services.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Alfred Herman, Jr. was born on December 12, 1965 in Rolla, MO, to the late Alfred Herman Sr., and Mary Ann Fierce Gudde. He attended school in Rolla and Lee Summit, graduating from Lee Summit with honors. Alfred was employed by McDonald’s for 30 years, first in Lee Summit and most recently by the Sullivan McDonald’s. He enjoyed collecting game books, and listening to Elvis. He was also a fan of Clint Eastwood and action heroes. Alfred was very artistic and could draw anything. He was a good man who fought a courageous battle with cancer.

Alfred is survived by his mother,Mary Ann Gudde of Cuba; three brothers, Richard Dale (Jennie) Forster of Steelville, Daniel Heath Page of Sullivan, Chuck Forster of Mountainview, MO; one sister, Tammy Durbin of Mountainview; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Alfred was preceded in death by his father; Alfred H. Forster, Sr., and two brothers, Adam and Allen Keith Forster.

Alfred passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at his home with his loving mother by his side.
