Verna Helen Schneider, 79, of Hermann, MO passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Hermann Area District Hospital in Hermann.
Verna was born in Gerald on November 30, 1936, to the late Fred and Viola (Ehrlish) Koppelmann. On November 7, 1964, she was united in marriage to Reuben A. Schneider. She was a member of Zion-St. Paul United Church of Christ in Bay. She enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors working with the animals and crops on the farm. She also enjoyed reading and cooking, especially mushrooms.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; brothers-in-law, Harvey and Raymond Schneider; and sister-in-law, Almyra Haugeberg.
Her survivors include her son, Jason Schneider of Bay and special friend, Vicki Schuler of Benton City, MO; sisters-in-law, Diann Wacker of Owensville, Doris Schneider of Hermann and Marlene Schneider of Oswego, New York; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Cemetery in Bay with Rev. Darrel Deeker officiating.
