Mariska Mackenzie Witt of Sullivan, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the age of 2 years and seven days.
Mariska was born in Saint John’s Mercy Hospital at Washington, Missouri on June 19, 2014 to Martin and Brianna (Peterson) Witt. She was known as a child with a lively personality and was developing a caring and loving disposition. Mariska was quick to learn and was just beginning to learn her numbers. Being a very active baby, she loved the outdoors and especially swimming. Mariska had many enjoyable moments kicking soccer balls and playing with her Cardinal baseball.
She is survived by her parents Marty and Brianna of Sullivan; a sister, Autumn Witt of the family home; grandmothers, Miriam Witt of Sullivan and Diane Peterson of Bourbon; great- grandfather, John Peterson of Bourbon; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Mariska was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Witt and her grandmother, Vera Peterson.
Funeral services were conducted 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2016 from the Chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with the Rev. John Roach officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Memorial Cemetery, Sullivan, Missouri. Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday evening at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
