Alice Bacon of Washington, MO formerly of Sullivan, MO passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the age of 48 years.
Alice was born on September 28, 1966 to Raymond Bacon and the late Delphia Sumpter Bacon at Sullivan, MO. She attended Fort Zumwalt High School in O’Fallon, MO and was active in Special Olympics bowling. Alice loved to sing and dance and also enjoyed cookbooks and puzzle books. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan.
She is survived by her father, Raymond Bacon and wife, Linda of Sullivan, MO, five sisters, Teresa Buchmann and husband, David, of Washington, MO, Robin McFarland of the state of Indiana, Elaine Housewright and husband, Jeff, of Sullivan, MO, Susan Moeckel of Sullivan, MO, Amy Gozia and husband, Joe, five brothers, James Smith of Sullivan, MO, Andy Smith and wife, Cindy, of Gerald, MO, Joe Smith and wife, Rachal, T. J. Grannemann and wife, Larua, and Heath Bacon and wife, Amber, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Delphia Bacon, brother, Kyle Bacon, and great niece, Macayla Carpenter and brother in law, Steve Moeckel.
A memorial service was conducted 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 from the chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO with Pastor Joseph Smith officiating. A gathering of family and friends was from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO
